BOM has four main departments:

Software and Hardware Development

Programmers, analysts, project managers, software testers, trainers, customer liaison officers and technical authors are employed within this division. They are responsible for every stage in the software development process from working with customers and determining their requirements to developing the software and producing manuals and training materials. A significant part of this division is the Research and Development team, which ensures BOM remains at the leading edge of technology and consequently our various markets. For example, we are currently progressing with 802.11b wireless connectivity for airlines.

IT Sales

Our account managers are responsible for liasing with customers, suppliers, our maintenance division and third-party service providers in order to ensure the best, most competitively priced deals for our customers.

Technical Services

Engineers and Helpdesk staff work within this group. They are responsible for providing installation and maintenance services to our customers, whether for commercial hardware and software or our own in-house software applications.

Accounts and Administration

The people employed within this department are responsible for a wide range of activities that support the day-to-day running of the company, including management, personnel, recruitment, accounts, marketing, website development and advertising.
